You shouldn’t be giving out car seat advice when you don’t know what you’re talking about. 1 year and 20 lbs is only the law- which is a bare minimum in safety. It’s now recommended that children stay rear facing until at LEAST 2 yrs. and 30 lbs- but preferably to the weight limits of their seats. There are actually a couple of seats out now that rear face to 45 lbs.
Not very good video. You need a 5 point harness, not a 3 point. It’s much safer to keep a child rear facing PAST a year and 20 lbs, The chest clip you showed was low on the torso, and the straps were extremely tight. Yes, you said they need to be tight, but you didn’t show it.
