Hah!

That's not always true

I had unprotected sex maybe 6 times in 2 months. When I found out I was pregnant we thought I was around 4 weeks, but in reality I was 6 weeks! I got pregnant one of the first times I had ever had unprotected sex.

Plus there have been women who've gotten pregnant WHILE using birth control!

Condoms and birth control are pretty effective. No from of birth control is 100% but used properly, these work really well. To boost your chances, use BOTH at the same time. Then you dont have to worry about the condom ripping or if you accidentally missed a day.

Pulling out is not, and has NEVER been a form of birth control.
Men have pre*** which they secrete the entire time they excited. They cannot feel it, they cannot control it, and it DOES contain sperm. As sooooon as you put that unprotected penl$ in there, even if its for 5 seconds, your risks of pregnancy go up DRAMATICALLY. There is no such thing as 'pulling out in time'

I'm pretty sure there is no set percentage. Some get pregnant easier than others, some really have to try, some never do get pregnant. It all depends on how fertile the couple is. I took birth control pills for 7 years and I stopped taking them this past March and got pregnant 2 weeks later. I didn't have to "try" we just had sex when we wanted and it happened. I read somewhere that you have a 20% chance of getting pregnant each month. That seems like a very small number to me. Before I got pregnant I thought it was harder than they say because i know so many people who have been "trying" for years and have been unsuccessful. Then I got pregnant in a matter of 2 weeks and think differently now.

Women got pregnant successfully for countless millenia, before there was any understanding of ovulation or 'timing.' You don't have to 'try.'

Statistically, if a couple is having a fairly 'normal' sex life, without any contraception, they have about an 80% chance of being pregnant within a year, even if they aren't actively trying. (And the 20%who aren't yet pregnant are considered to be infertile -- though a few of those will get pregnant over the next 1-2 years, without any medical help.)

Condoms have, ideally, about a 2% failure rate. (2% of couples using them will get pregnant each year. In actual use, the failure rate is much higher 10-15% or so (depending on the study you look at) because most couples DON'T use them correctly or consistantly.

Withdrawal has, stastitically, about a 25% failure rate. (Older men, with better control, seem to do better though.) Birth control pills, used correctly, less than a 1% failure rate. (But again, user error increases that quite a bit.)

I am in the Medical Field and Mother of 3

It is NOT hard all you have to do is keep track of your periods and know when you are ovulating..

I had no trouble getting pregnant.. I had my first daughter July 12, 1991
Second Daughter July 1, 1992 and my Third daughter May 4, 1994

Women who have problems are the ones that have NO idea when they are ovulating are really irregular or have medical conditions such as PID ( Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) or PCOS ( Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) which makes it pretty much impossible for them to get pregnant without help

Always use protection even when you do it is still possible. Condoms have a 5% failure rate even when it doesn't break and is used correctly. Same with birth control. The pull out method is not reliable AT ALL because of prec**. If you do not wish to be a daddy DO NOT HAVE SEX. I have only had sex twice without protection with my SO and both times I got pregnant.
