how to heal acne scabs quick?

Question by t: how to heal acne scabs quick?
i had a bad habit of popping pimples (please dont comment on that i stopped). so i got some… no alot of scabs now. it is embarrasing to go out with a bunch of scabs staring the world from my forehead. (im 13 and very self concious about my face) i want to know if there are any home remedies to maybe heal them faster bc i want them gone by the time i get my schedule at school (august 17th) i know they will heal on their own in that amount of time but if i can make them go faster that’d be great!. so i need simple home remedies to speed up the amount of time it takes for the scab to fall off naturally. i do not have neosporin but what i think is a generic by target please help
i dont need any acne remedies bc i barely have any noticable right now so im not as concerned and i dont want to spend money bc i dont have any…

leaving them alone helps. also which hazel works to close pores…..

i pick also and im 36 so don’t worry you can’t help it sometimes but we are our own enemies.

sit in the sun. it will help dry them

tooth paste helps . put it on each scar at night and in the morning its drier and goes away

at the target you can get concealer . if the scabs are red you can buy a green concealer and put a dab on each one and rub it in and then cover with a cover up . but don’t cake it on. you will look fake.

get your mother to takeyou to a doc for medicine for your acne. i use a topical medicine with erethromicin in it and benzoil peroxide. it works!!!!!!!! its a paste you put on your skin twice a day and its working lovely!

You can make yourself some peelings with some gels that you can find in beauty shops, or even you can go to the dermatologist and ask for a good solution

The generic anti-biotic cream/ointment from Target will help. Just dab a tiny bit on the scabs before going to bed.

Aloe vera gel will help during the day.

I also recommend Desert Essence’s Blemish Stick. It’s available @ Trader Joe’s & Whole Foods.

Well,i am an expert at getting rid of that, but i have a bad habit of not wanting 2!!!
    lol,anywayz,this will do the trick!!

1st: Clean your face with a normal Baby wipe,(this will open your pores!)

2nd: Use a product called Apricot Scrub, but buy the cheap one.

3rd: Use another product called Oxypads, they are acne wipes.

4th: Apply Vitamin E cream to your face.

Do this for a few days or how ever long you like and you will have clear skin!

Also If you have a painful red pimple or blemish, Put an ice cube on it, this will reduce redness and swelling!

    Good Luck!

Well you can take some ice-cubes and rub them over the scabs for around 10 minutes or as long as you can stand it, then then without wiping your face dry, use a tube of Pure Cocoa Butter, that you can get from Walgreens for around 99c, and rub it on and cover your Scabs for at least one minute. Then let it air dry. Do this at least 3x a day for a long as it takes and you’ll have your face looking fresh and smooth once again. But remember to wash your face with Ivory Soap or some soap without any perfumes and rinse it and blot dry do not rub, in it in order to keep the smoothness. Good Luck!

Don’t feel bad– I pick them too. Picking at acne usually makes it worse. However, to clean up the mess you make by picking, I’ve found that Retinol 1% works the best. You can find it on-line or at a pharmacy. A little pricey, but it does work.

clean affected area and use a good toner (I use Murad) with witch hazel. You can also use 50% witch hazel to 50% water. Apply the retinol sparingly. I do this AM and PM. Possibly should start with only one application of retinol a day until you know how you’re skin will tolerate it. Retinol is very strong!

Also, remember that what may work for someone else great, may not work for you. It’s a process of trial and error we all go through to find what works best for each of us. However, getting feedback is a great place to start. Good luck!
